And if you have money to spend for a plane flight and a hotel, it is usually wiser to go with a surgeon located in a major city or area such as Orange County or Beverly Hills or even New York. Surgeons in major metropolitan areas usually have more experience and are better organized from a business perspective because it is much harder for a surgeon to compete in a big city than it is to start a business and thrive in “small town U.S.A.”.
